I am a music specialist and the music I write is original, tested on children and for the less confident teacher. My aim is to provide you with everything you need to fulfil Topic requirements and those of the National Curriculum (without having to prepare anything.) I provide Power Points/videos and give you mp3s and lyrics. Notation is sometimes given. The instrumental parts are dead easy!

Helping others by being thoughtful

I have acted this out with children for Assemblies. They loved seeing the stage full of litter etc. I think it drove home the point that not putting things back in the right place and being very untidy impacts on others.

How an American school tackled bullying

I ran the first video as the children came into Assembly.. It sets the mood for a thoughtful approach to the topic ' Bullying ' The second part shows how the problem.was tackled. In between the videos, you might like to ask the children what the solution could be. The original video is on the web address. I have edited the music of the original video to make it suitable for Assemblies, I have made it available here as I know some schools are not allowed to use You-tube

Lyrics to carols and songs on smartboard

No frills lyrics to; Ding Dong Merrily, Holly and the Ivy, Shine Jesus Shine, You have heard our Christmas story, Once in royal David’s city, Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, And did those feet in ancient time, Silent night, holy night, Away in a manger, no crib for a bed, Hark! The herald-angels sing, O little town of Bethlehem, Who put the colours in the rainbow?

A self running PowerPoint with embedded sound files designed to help children make a connection with music then and music now. I have had it running as children enter assembly. Those doing Ancient Egyptians loved it .There is a small booklet to record their knowledge. The music will play when in slide mode You can also use it as part of your Egyptian topic. Pleas give me feed back as it took hours to make !
